What this was
Papaya was a decentralized finance protocol I co-founded and helped build from concept through testnet. The product and the technical system had to be designed together, in an ecosystem where both the technology and user expectations were still evolving.
I was co-founder and lead frontend engineer, with significant end-to-end ownership: technical architecture, product development, frontend UX, smart-contract work, API integrations, token mechanics, liquidity pooling, and secure wallet authentication.
The work also included automated testing, technical documentation, and the messier product questions around tokenomics, governance, and security. Community management and continuous user feedback were part of how the product moved, not extras around the edges.
The core product was delivered through testnet.
